Credibility scores are derived algorithmically from prediction track records across 5,700+ monitored sources and video channels. Each source is scored on multiple dimensions:
- Prediction Accuracy — percentage of forecasts that resolved correctly
- Brier Score — probabilistic accuracy (lower = better); rewards calibrated confidence
- Boldness — willingness to make strong, non-consensus forecasts
- Independence — degree to which predictions diverge from herd consensus
- Timeliness — how quickly a source reports breaking developments
Scores update continuously as predictions resolve. Minimum 10 articles required for source inclusion.
